Contrast in Foundation Production and Advanced Production

As you can see there is a dramatic contrast in the genre and theme of our two main productions over the last two years. I think the main contrast is the lighting and theme. This year we chose a far more upbeat theme, the Pop genre. Typically the Pop genre uses branded lavish clothing and “Hollywood” ideas such as saturating and colourising it’s music videos vivaciously trying to grab and attain the viewers attention. In reference to clothing Pop music stereotypically display males, well dressed in branded styled clothing, as you can see we have adhered to this stereotype in our music video. it is an obvious contrast to the sombre atmosphere represented in last years horror film "The Devil's Playground." Which adhered to themes of macabre ghosts and malevolence.
